The Abayudaya Menβs Club Initiative
AMC Poultry Farm was born from the collective vision of the Abayudaya Menβs Club (AMC). Founded as a community-led association in Eastern Uganda, the Club recognized that true empowerment comes from economic independence. What began as a local gathering of minds evolved into a strategic mission: to build a modern, self-sustaining agricultural hub that serves the community and beyond.
Why Data-Driven Farming?
Research into regional food systems shows that homegrown, data-driven farming is a critical shield against starvation in Sub-Saharan Africa. By adopting precision agriculture and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), we moved away from traditional guesswork. This scientific approach allows us to monitor poultry health and optimize yields, ensuring our community remains resilient and food-secure.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To eradicate food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa by combining local Ugandan agricultural wisdom with modern data science and STEM education.
Our Vision
To be a leading model of a self-sustaining, high-tech poultry ecosystem in Africa that empowers the community to lead a sustainable Green Revolution.
The Vision: Solving the Protein Gap
In the early days, we identified a critical need for reliable wholesale poultry suppliers in the Mbale-Iganga corridor. We saw a gap in the market for consistent meat quality and professional service.
Pioneering Modern Production
As we grew, we moved to a strictly monitored 3-stage production cycle. By investing in biosecure housing in Kamonkoli, we minimized disease risks and maximized meat quality.
